It’s heating up in Roswell—and not just the weather! I’ve got a mid-century modern stunner about to hit the market in Brookfield Country Club that’s already turning heads. (More on that in a sec…)

But first, let’s talk about keeping things cool—literally.

If your energy bill is creeping higher than home prices in 2021, here are a few tried-and-true ways to save:

💡 Swap your air filters – A clean filter helps your system run smoother and cheaper. I'm also going to let you in on a pr tip I've heard from multiple HVAC contractors, and my handy husband…. But the cheap filters and just change them more often. The expensive ones can actually work too good (is that proper English?) and cause more strain on your unit. Especially in the heat of the summer.

🌞 Close blinds during peak sun—especially those south-facing windows! No one but the log needs that heat blasting through the windows!

🌬️ Bump up the thermostat when you leave. No reason to chill an empty house.

🍽️ Skip the oven/dryer in the heat of the day—save those tasks for the evening.

👀 Selling soon? Buyers notice when a home feels efficient. They don't want to worry that AC unit isn't working! So plan on paying more to keep ALL showings at a more comfortable level! But living in it?! Then those few tweaks can save you some cash.
